| The Bathy 1500 uses an interrupt driven correction to accurately adjust depth data to input from a remote heave sensor. The unit has been tested extensively with both TSS and Seatex sensors. Because of interrupt driven hardware, transmit rates are maintained at up to 18 hertz (depth dependent), while maintaining high accuracy and resolution. Both depth data, and raw heave correction values are optionally stored to an internal non-volatile flash device, external mass storage, or transmitted via the serial port.
